32nd TaCoS
Organizing the 32nd student's conference for computer linguistics
We organized and conducted the 32. Tagung der Comupterlinguistik-Studierende (TaCoS). A four-day conference that brought 57 students from Germany, the Netherlands, Maroco, the UK, and the USA together to exchange views and network during talks, workshops or the evening program.
An innovation to the TaCoS-concept was the career networking market at which our participants could meet associations, companies and representatives of accademia. The conference was organized as an institute overarching event such that the Institute of Linguistics and the Institure of Imformatics provided funds and were represented by keynote speakers. Finally the accounting was jointly supervised by the Linguistics secretariat and the AsTA of the Heinrich Heine University.
